Frequently Asked Questions Regarding The Kids in the Kitchen After-School Program

How do I enroll my child in the program?

Start by contacting your school administration to see if they have interest in our cooking program. If yes, please fill out one of our contact forms and we’ll reach out with more information.

What if the school doesn’t have a kitchen?

No problem! We can supply our own ovens to accommodate your school. We do request to have a sink so we can keep our area clean and neat.

Who pays for the program?

We work directly with the school for payment. It would be up to them to decide if it’s a school offered and paid program or if the parents pay.

What does a typical session include?

Check out our class structure here:

What if my child has allergies?

Although we don’t use any nut products in our recipes, we are not a nut or dairy free program.

How many classes are in each session?

We work with each school individually to accommodate their after school schedule.

How many students are in each class?

Our program is usually the most popular at each school we partner with. Our class size is no more than 24 students and not less than 10 (we’ve never had to worry about that!). With no more than 4 teams.
